 A percussionist, singer and composer Hasan has been performing most of his life. He has studied in the master-teacher discipline for most of his adult life with great masters of instruments like the Djembe, timbales, shekere, congas, and berimbau. In addition to playing music, he is an incredible photographer and father to a cool 13 year old daughter named Chi Chi (go Chi-Chi, go Chi-Chi!). Hasan started playing music as a child - but it wasn't the drums - it was first trombone; just like Melik (the bass player)! The drums called Hasan in his teen years and we're glad he answered the call of the beat! And yes, he also plays drum kit as well.....quite a talented man, yes?!?!?!
He's also toured with several popular artists including Snow, Thomas Mapfumo, The Winard Harper Sextet and Hasan Hakmoun.
